InjuryClaimGuide (“we”, “us”) operates this website as a legal advertising service. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We try to keep this in plain language.

What we collect

When you submit a free intake, we collect the information you choose to provide, including: your name, contact information, location (city/ZIP), the type of incident, and details about the situation. We also collect technical information automatically: the pages you visit, your approximate location based on IP, your device type, and similar analytics data.

How we use it

We use your information to operate this service: to identify participating attorneys whose practice areas and locations may match your situation, to communicate with you about your request, and to improve the platform. With your consent, we share your intake information with participating attorneys you have indicated you'd like to be connected with. When we share your intake information with those attorneys, we use an AI service provider, Anthropic, to write a short summary of the details you gave us about the incident and your injuries. If a summary is produced, it is sent with your intake information. The summary is written in English. To write it, we send Anthropic only your answers about the type of incident, when it happened, your injuries and medical treatment, whether a police report was filed, and the evidence you have, plus the description you wrote in your own words. We do not send Anthropic your name, email address, phone number, or location. Anything you write in your description is sent as you wrote it. Anthropic processes this information for us to produce the summary. If you use the automated help assistant on our confirmation page, we automatically remove the phone numbers, email addresses and street addresses we detect in your message, and send the rest to Anthropic so it can choose one of our pre-written answers. Anthropic does not write the answer you see. We keep the redacted message for up to 90 days.

What we do not do

• We do not guarantee outcomes or that any attorney will accept your case

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to operate the site (such as session cookies for the intake flow) and aggregated analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, request deletion, or withdraw consent for sharing with attorneys at any time by contacting us via the contact page. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete it, except for a record of your consent to be contacted, which we keep for up to five years to comply with telemarketing laws.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, including industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls on our backend, and rate limiting to deter abuse. No system is perfect; we encourage you to share only what you're comfortable sharing.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes.
