This page explains who edits the guides in the InjuryClaimGuide Learning Center, how they are researched, and how they are dated, updated and corrected.
Who edits the guides
The guides are edited by Joseph Budzinski, CTO of InjuryClaimGuide. He is not a lawyer.
Attorney review
No attorney has reviewed these guides. If an attorney reviews a guide in the future, that guide will show a "Reviewed by" line naming the attorney.
How guides are researched
Most guides are researched from official sources: Texas and federal statutes and rules, and the pages of the courts and government agencies that run the processes the guides describe. Those guides link to their sources and list them at the end. Some older, general guides do not list sources yet.
Dates and updates
Each guide shows the date it was published and, once it has been revised, a "Last updated" date. When we learn that a law or an agency process a guide describes has changed, we revise the guide.
Corrections
If you think a guide is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact page. Please name the guide and what you think is wrong. We check the report against the official source and, when the guide is wrong, we correct it and update its "Last updated" date.
General information, not legal advice
InjuryClaimGuide is a legal advertising service. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. We do not recommend or endorse any attorney, and we do not analyze the merits of any potential claim. Routing to participating firms is based on geography, practice area, language, and firm capacity.
Participating law firms pay InjuryClaimGuide to receive leads. InjuryClaimGuide is not a lawyer referral service and is not affiliated with any state bar.
